Purchasing Information

If you are interested in purchasing one of our Havanese pups, we would love to speak to you about it.  As much as we love our dogs and love talking about them, the phone calls and emails can get to be quite a load so serious inquiries only please. 

We can be contacted by email or by phone.  Our email address is oegulker@mtcnet.net.  Our home phone number is 712-722-1137 and my cell number is 712-441-4029.  You may call any time between 8:00am and 10:00pm Central Time.  If we are not home please leave a message on our answering machine.  We promise to call you back!

Our pups are sold at 8 weeks of age.  If traveling by air, we sometimes wait until 10 weeks of age to allow the pups to get a little bigger.  All of our pups are up to date on their vaccinations and have been wormed.  You will receive a list of vaccines used and dates administered in a shot record.  Your vet will want to have this information to set up a vaccination schedule for your pup.

All of our pups come with a 14 day health guarantee. Each pup comes with a health certificate from our vet so we know it is healthy for you when it arrives. When you get your puppy home, you need to schedule an appointment with your vet within 7 days for an exam.  If your vet finds a problem with your pup, call us immediately (this is a must), have the vet fill out a report and fax or email it to us and if it is a problem that is covered by the guarantee we will refund the price of the pup and shipping upon receipt of your veterinarians report.  PLEASE, have your pup seen by your vet within the first 7 days, the vet expense you occur is your responsibility, we do not pay any vet bills other than our vet. If the pup is not seen by a vet in the first 7 days, after that time, we CANNOT issue a refund.

We also offer a 1 year, from date of birth, guarantee on our pups that covers any genetic health problems. We have never had a single pup with a problem but we are willing to offer the guarantee as a measure of good faith that our pups are healthy and will be with you a long time.

All of our pups are APRI or AKC registered and come with full breeding rights.  If you don't plan to breed your dog, please have it spayed or neutered as soon as possible.

The first few days in your home are very important to your pup.  It is essential that you establish a schedule immediately.  If you plan to crate train your pup, begin on day one.  Many books and articles are written on training your pup and we encourage you to do your homework if this is your first puppy.  We play music in our kennel 24 hours a day so your puppy will find music very soothing.  This is especially useful for the first few lonely nights away from the rest of the litter.
